TEE BALL


OCPR Tee Ball Form


Osage City Parks and Recreation is offering Tee Ball for children ages 3, 4, 5 years old. OCPR Tee Ball is a parent interactive program, meaning all parents are invited to help with the program.
 
  • A Team Head Coach is selected by OCPR and the remaining parents serve as Assistant Coaches.
  • T-Ball players need to be 3 by May 1, 2023
  • Each team has a roster limit of 10 players.
  • Team practice can start after the sign-up deadline, as soon as the team is put together and a head coach as been assigned.
  • Team practices are determined by the Head Coach.
  • Games start the week of June 5.
  • Each Tee Ball team plays a minimum of 4 games.
  • Game dates are TBD.
  • The Tee Ball game schedule will be sent out prior to the start of the season.
  • Games are 45 minutes long and scheduled on an hour interval.
  • Tee Ball coaches are in charge of each game, making sure player positions are rotated and setting their batting order.
  • Each team bats everyone and then players rotate to the field for defense during the allotted time.
  • A Tee Ball game typically lasts 3 innings.

IN CASE OF BAD WEATHER

  • Tee Ball Head Coaches will be contacted by 4pm on game day. The Head Coaches will then contact their parents.
  • Cancellations will be posted on the City of Osage City Facebook Page.
  • Games missed due to bad weather will try to be rescheduled during the season.
